Reflecting on the told, re-told and untold stories surrounding the histories of the Space Race of the 1950’s and 60’s, the filmmakers discover the stories of participants “who were there,” as well as descendants honoring those efforts while experiencing a a sense of secrecy in their childhood. From the telling, re-telling, top secret and finally unclassified information, how does this change the American space story and associated individual family stories?
